Letter of application

At the end of your CV there should be a section for "Referees" or "References". These are physicians or other respected persons that are willing to give information about you and your previous performance at medical school or during training. If possible, give an academic and a professional reference, such as a university professor and the consultant from one of your electives, and provide their contact details. They may be contacted by the hospital or university you are applying to, so it is important that they can speak English.
